What Costs Are Involved in Applying for and Entering the Society?

There is no application fee. However, the applicant will be expected to pay for his own physical examination and psychological screening, plus the fees for transcripts that are needed from high school and college. Once the candidate has entered the program there is no tuition. The Society absorbs the costs of in house spiritual, theological and technical training plus the food and shelter of the candidate. The candidate, however, during his first two or three years, before he makes first profession, is expected to take care of his personal and medical needs.

As soon as a candidate enters, he begins being trained in and working in some aspect of the media ministry. This helps defray the costs of the candidate's early training and gives the candidate a chance to use his talents immediately for helping the people of God. After first vows are taken, the Society takes up all expenses of the candidate including university and specialized training in any of the technical fields of communications.
